The Hoopbus is out to change the perspective of playground and street basketball by hosting women's park takeovers across the country.
This summer they are driving from LA to NY renovating basketball courts into works of art and hosting women's park takeovers with an all star team of influencer athletes.
Their ultimate goal is to work with local leaders to organize regular women's runs at parks across America.

Heide Sutter, 81, works out at Gold's Gym in Venice, Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Heide has been working out at Gold's Gym and Muscle Beach since 1969. She was first introduced to weight lifting by her life-long friend Arnold Schwarzenegger. Heide was the first woman to workout in the Muscle Beach training pit in Venice. She works out 5 days per week at Golds Gym in Venice. Heide is a true inspiration! 💪

California Conservation Corps
California Conservation Corps (@californiaconservationcorps) members provide camp support at the L.A.F.D. Command Post at Will Rogers State Beach, Monday, May 17, 2021. The California Conservation Corps is a department within the California Natural Resources Agency. They are the oldest and largest conservation corps in the nation. Their program provides young adults 18 – 25 years old, and military veterans up to 29, a year of paid service to the State of California. During their year of service, Corpsmembers work on environmental projects and respond to natural and man-made disasters. Through this work, they gain skills and experience that lead to meaningful careers. Their motto is ‘Hard Work, Low Pay, Miserable Conditions and More!’ CCC is dedicated to developing the Corpsmembers into citizens with character, credentials, and commitment. The CCC mission is to protect and enhance California's natural resources and communities while empowering and developing young adults through hard work and education.
