81 year old Liz Bevington, aka "Skateboard Mama", catches some wind on her skateboard on Sunday, October 2, 2005 as she wind skates on Santa Monica beach. She is retired and spends most of her time at the beach, rollerblading, wind skating, skateboaeding and bike riding. " I cant just stay at home and be a coach potatoe" she said.
Liz was born in Trier Germany in 1924 and moved to the U.S. in 1960. She had her son at the age 44, when he turned 6 years old, she bought him a skateboard and began skateboarding with him, she never stopped and the rest is history...
