1) (left to right) Nate Scribner, Peter Czer, and  Luke Czer  lead a caroling procession down the Third Street Promenade on Sunday, December 9, 2007. 2) Nate Scribner leads the procession. 3) Mike Forte, his wife Christina and their daughter Anna, (as Joseph, Mary and Jesus) walk through the Promenade during the procession. 4)  The procession heads north on the Promenade. 5,6,7) The Lighthouse Church youth choir sing Christmas carols at Palisades Park during the event. The event marked the opening of the Santa Monica Nativity Scenes, an annual display of the Christmas story in Palisades Park at Ocean and Arizona avenues. The interdenominational display stretches along Ocean Avenue from Arizona Avenue to Santa Monica Boulevard and includes 14 scenes with life-size figures depicting events surrounding Christ’s birth. The lighted scenes will be on display until the end of the year.
