Santa Monica Police Department Motor Officer John Gallagher, 44, looks on as Bella Bril, 75, operates the driving simulator during the Wise Senior Service - Center for Healthy Aging - Senior Citizen Driving Program on Wednesday Feb. 28, 2007. The driving simulator is a self assessment tool that reviews the cognitive skills, reaction time, hand-eye coordination and decision making abilities of the driver. If a seniors does not do well, the SMPD does not take away their license but hopes  they realize that they shouldn't be driving. "Bella did an excellent job" officer Gallagher reported. The driving simulator is part of the SMPD's 'We LEADD' program (Westside Law Enforcement Against Drunk Driving).
