1,2) Santa Monica Firefighter Marlon Jefferson demonstrates a rope rescue during the National Fire Service Day at Santa Monica Fire Station No. 2 on Saturday, May 10, 2008. 3,4)  Guest watch the rescue demonstration. 5)  Ocean Park Association Board Member Dave Auch serves pancake to Santa Monica Police Chief Timothy J. Jackman and Santa Monica Fire Chief Jim Hone during the open house. 6) Seinna Morgan 2 1/2 and Lucia Johansen, 3, play in a wagon during the Fire Service Day at Santa Monica Fire Station No. 2. The annual National Fire Service Day welcomes the community to meet their local firefighters and tour the station.  Fire Service Day is held nationwide to provide communities like Santa monica with an opportunity to visit a fire station and get to know the personnel who serve and protect the community.
