People wait in line to receive a free micro chip implanted into their dogs during "Pet Fair & Chip-a-thon," at Clover Park on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Dog training demonstrations, pet disaster preparedness tips, and Red Cross pet first aid classes were featured at the Pet Fair and Chip-a-thon. The Pet Fair & Chip-a-thon was presented by the American Red Cross of Santa Monica, The City of Santa Monica and Santa Monica Organizations Active in Disaster (SMOAID).
