Check out this new "Code Blue" two-way emergency communication unit at Santa Monica Beach! Code Blue is an emergency communications system that puts the user in direct communication with the Police Department. To activate the unit, the user need only push the Red Emergency button. When activated, the unit rings into the Police Department and a blue strobe light atop the unit begins flashing. Upon receiving a call from an emergency telephone a police officer will be dispatched to the emergency telephone location.
