Westside Special Olympics (WSO) athletes take photos at Palisades Park during a special Santa Monica Close-up Photography Workshop on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The Santa Monica Closeup Photography Workshop is a 3 week photo class led by Photojournalist Fabian Lewkowicz.

WSO is a non profit, community based organization whose mission is to contribute to the physical, social and psychological development of people with intellectual disabilities through athletic experience. WSO is supported by the City of Santa Monica, private donations and the spirit of volunteerism.
The athletes photographs will be exhibited at Pier Del Sol on the Santa Monica Pier on October 12, 2014.
