Walking the Labyrinth at First United Methodist Church of Santa Monica, February 27, 2018. A labyrinth is an ancient symbol dating back 3500 years. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools. A labyrinth has only one path. It is unicursal. The way in is the way out. There are no blind alleys. The path leads you on a circuitous path to the center and out again.

The Labyrinth is open on the 3rd Sunday of the month, 2:30 p.m. with the last walk at 4 p.m. and also by appointment. The Labyrinth is intended for individuals, retreats, church and meditation groups and the community at large to enjoy. Email labyrinth@santamonicaumc.org or call the church office (310) 393-8258 to schedule a walk.
