Art @ Tongva presents work by Artistic Director Annie Saunders and her company Wilderness at Tonga Park on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Wilderness push the envelope of the traditional theatre-going experience. Inspired by unexplored and uninhabited spaces, they create experiential and interdisciplinary theatrical events that disrupt the boundaries between observer and observed. The performance was staged for the landscape of Tongva Park. The pieces use text, movement, music and recorded sound to examine partnership and domestic relationships. Art @ Tongva is an ongoing series of intimate and informal events that, since 2014, offer audiences the opportunity to experience the park from different points of view through dance, art, music and interactive experiences.
