Highlights from Special Olympics Southern California's 23rd annual Pier del Sol at the #SantaMonicaPier on Sunday, October 6, 2019.

Pier del Sol is a fun-filled fundraiser for the entire family that benefits more than  38,900 athletes of the Special Olympics Southern California.

The guests enjoyed unlimited rides and games at Pacific Park, a VIP outdoor brunch with over 35 of Greater L.A.'s top restaurants including Angelini Osteria, The Arbour, El Cholo, Luxe, Maison Giraud, Sprinkles, Pink's Hot Dogs and many more.

Founded in 1969 by Olympic decathlon gold medalist Rafer Johnson, Special Olympics Southern California serves children and adults with intellectual disabilities who participate in year-round sports training and competition. Participation develops improved physical fitness and motor skills and greater self-confidence in our athletes.

Special Olympics has become the world’s largest movement dedicated to promoting respect, acceptance, inclusion, and human dignity for people with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics programs are offered at no cost to the athletes and their families. #PierdelSol #WeAreSOSC#SpecialOlympics
