The Santa Monica Police Department celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month at Colorado Center Park on Friday, October 7, 2022. The celebration featured a game of Loteria con la Policia, Do it Yourself Maracas, a visit from the mounted police, a Folklorico dance performance, free churros and a showing of Disney's movie Encanto.
