Santa Monica College (SMC) was thrilled to present the highly anticipated return of "Celebrate America," a dazzling event honoring the nation's independence and the vibrant diversity of the community. The celebration took place at Santa Monica College's Corsair Field on Saturday, July 1, 2023, marking a triumphant comeback after a hiatus since 2019. It was an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

Fireworks Spectacular

The highlight of the event was a mesmerizing fireworks display, expertly crafted by Rialto-based Pyro Spectaculars Entertainment. Illuminating the night sky with a burst of colors and patterns, the fireworks captivated audiences of all ages, creating a magical atmosphere befitting the spirit of the occasion.

Entertainment and Performances

Eddie Jauregui served as the Master of Ceremonies for "Celebrate America 2023," guiding the audience through an evening filled with excitement and entertainment. Attendees had the pleasure of enjoying a live music performance by the popular Westside Crew, known for their dynamic and engaging sound.

Food enthusiasts were delighted by the presence of the RS California Fusion Food Truck and 5 Elementos Food Truck, alongside a range of food booths operated by renowned vendors such as Keith's Kettle Corn, Kai Kai Dumplings, What the Funnel, Pucker Up Lemonade, and Mimi's Cotton Candy. Picnicking was also encouraged, providing a delightful opportunity to savor the culinary delights in the company of friends and family.
