Santa Monica Police Officer Roberto Villegas and his k-9 partner 'Nero' a seven year-old Belgian Malinois, lead a 'Perimeter Search Team' on the 2600 block of Broadway Avenue on Friday, November 13, 2009. The officers were looking for a man who fled on foot from a traffic stop. The search team did not find the man.

Gabriel Ramirez from Empire Community Painting applies a new coat of teal paint onto the Sea Castle on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The SeaCastle is the only luxury apartment building in Santa Monica where the front terrace is the beach.
