Bird of Paradise

A  Strelitzia Reginae (aka Bird of Paradise)  blooms at Santa Monica College on Saturday, March 15, 2008. Bird of paradise is a tropical-looking plant with paddle-shaped leaves and exotic flowers that resemble a bird's beak.

There are currently 26 active clubs in the 2008 Spring semester at SMC through the Inter-Club Council. The ICC is an organization within the Associated Students of Santa Monica College that exists to support and promote the activities of the student clubs on campus.

A train of six pre-school children from Step by Step  are  pulled along Fourteenth Street as they make their way towards Memorial Park  on Friday, March 7, 2008. Step by Step EDU-Play Programs Inc. embraces the vision that, through collaborative partnerships, facilitation of intrinsic motivation and specialized creative programming, children with disabilities will have the opportunity to expand their abilities for education, fun and positive inclusion opportunities within society.
