World Peace Drum Circle

Flags from 193 countries and 50 United States blow in the wind at #SantaMonica #Beach on Sunday, March 31, 2019.. The flags are installed by The World Peace Drum Circle. Their objective is to do anything they can to help end all wars, hunger, malnutrition, starvation, and homelessness inspiring the development of a pure relationship with mother earth. Their goal is to have each country world-wide organize a similar drum circle event every Sunday. The World Peace Drum Circle meets every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. Cat in the Hat

The Cat in the Hat, Kiwanian Dr. Janie Jones Harding, reads Dr. Seuss to children at the Santa Monica Public Library during  Kiwanis Club of Santa Monica’s  eleventh annual Seuss-tastic day on Saturday, March 2, 2019. The Seuss-tacular Day of Dr. Seuss was in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday.


The Kiwanis Club of Santa Monica, Ca. has been serving the needs of the community and its children since 1922. The club, made of volunteers from a variety of professionals, provides this support with Grants, volunteer hours and much more.

Members provide this support through fundraising efforts, working on committees and participating at community events.

Join them and be one of many who help serve the children of this community through our Music Scholarship Awards, Academic Scholarships and generous support to many youth oriented agencies throughout the Westside.
