I thought the questions were not challenging enough, although the one directed at the incumbents who accepted donations from developers was on the money. Genser, especially attempted to dodge the question by saying he was not obligated. Bloom tried to imply the donations were too small to make a difference. Katz at least was honest about being por-development. The reason why these three incumbents are endorsed by developers is because they oppose Measure T to cap development (along with "Peace Activist" Rubin).

The question I would have like to pose to the incumbents is regard to accepting contributions and endorsements from city employess in exchange for giving them another raise, BEFORE the election. This is a HUGE conflict of interest and should not be allowed. In my opinion it should be considered a violation of the Brown Act.
