FOOD FARE
Chef Maire Byrne, Owner of Thyme Café & Market, serves Vermacelli Pasta during the 31st Annual Food Fare at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Thursday, March 11, 2010. The event featured samples of food and drink from the city’s premier restaurants, wineries, caterers, and beverage purveyors. Food Fare began in 1979 with a cooking demonstration by Julia Child. Food Fare raises funds for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles which provides vital health care and education services for over 196,000 people.
