Chief Hone has served the Santa Monica community for the past 30 years. He began in 1980 as a Firefighter/Paramedic and his career touched all aspects of the department as Fire Captain, Paramedic, Hazardous Materials Captain, Support Service Division Chief and Fire Marshal prior to being named Fire Chief in 2003.
