Stop Online Piracy Act

Flick Junior protests against SOPA (the Stop Online Piracy Act) at  Main Street on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.

Activists argue that the bill would threaten prosperity, online security, and freedom of expression and give the government too much power to shut down Web sites accused of copyright violations even if they are later found to be innocent of the charges.
