Condor Squadron

Six vintage World War II planes flown by pilots from the Condor Squadron of Van Nuys fly above Santa Monica on Saturday, September 22, 2012. The Condor Squadron was founded in 1965 by aviation enthusiasts dedicated to preserving the memory of those who have served the nation over the years. Memorial flights in restored North American aircraft originally flown during World War II are among the group's primary activities that also include parade appearances.
