Summer Fiesta Chess Tournament

Kids play chess during ChessPalace's 2018 Summer Fiesta Chess Scholastic tournament at Santa Monica Chess Park on Sunday, July 15, 2018. ChessPalace is a chess club that hosts chess tournaments, conducts classes, and sells chess books and merchandise. Established since 1990, they continue to serve young and old chess enthusiasts from beginner to master level. Rated games and scholastic chess lessons are held weekly. ChessPalace is also the organizer for the annual American Open held on Thanksgiving weekend.
