Thousands of people protested on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica on Saturday, October 8, 2022, to demand justice for Mahsa Amini, and to stand in solidarity with Iranian women. Mahsa Amini is a Kurdish woman who died after being arrested in Tehran by the Islamic Republic's morality police on September 20, 2022.
