Offering free after-school programs for youth ages 6-17 who live or attend public school in the City of Santa Monica, PAL’s programs provide educational support, college preparation, leadership enhancement, and fitness training. Many programs foster trust and bridge the gap between youth and law enforcement in a friendly and positive environment. Through PAL, youth are connected to community resources and new opportunities that develop lifelong learning and enhance social and life skills.

PAL is a unique public-non-profit partnership operated by the City of Santa Monica and led by a volunteer nonprofit Board of Directors. The Board's fundraising support helps to sustain a vital resource for many young people in Santa Monica.
