The weekend's musical lineup boasted talents such as DJ KimChi, Petty Theft, Mocha Chai & Friends on Saturday, followed by Dogtown Prophets, Old Corn Lickers, Ben Vaughn & Captain Danger on Sunday.

For families, the Pump Station & Nurtury Kid Corner, presented by Capital One Cafe, provided a haven of activities, including soccer sessions, music workshops, and the captivating Books & Cookies Musical Story Time. Santa Monica Community Celebrates National Night Out with SMPD's "Everyone Can Be A Superhero" Theme

On Tuesday, August 1st, the Santa Monica community was invited to join Police Chief Ramon Batista, the members of the Santa Monica Police Department, along with other city divisions, and thousands of communities nationwide to celebrate National Night Out (NNO). NNO, an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie aimed at making neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live, was enthusiastically embraced by the residents.

This year, the SMPD's theme was "Everyone Can Be A Superhero". Attendees had the opportunity to grab their free capes, snap Instagram-worthy photos with their favorite Superheroes, and learn about the amazing things community members do every day to make Santa Monica a great place to live.

The event featured an impressive showcase of various police vehicles and equipment, giving community members a chance to get up close with the tools that help ensure their safety.
