(2) Santa Monica Firefighter Matt Norris, collects donations for the muscle-wasting disease. (3) Engineer Jim Enges, 52, volunteers his time after a 24 hour shift. (4) Nick Angel, 27, collects donations on Friday. The money supports the local MDA clinic and support groups, assists with the purchase of durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, leg braces, and communication devices, and funds the MDA Summer Camps.
