Santa Claus visits children at Santa Monica Place during Breakfast With Santa on Saturday, December 3, 2022. The event benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. Breakfast With Santa featured kid-friendly activities including crafts, face-painting, special musical performances, and snacks along with a special appearance by Santa Claus. Santa Claus was escorted by Santa Monica Police Officers. Minibop Children's Music School performed Christmas songs. The event was hosted by Twinkle Time.

Scientologists from the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation administer free stress tests using the E-Meter at Ocean Front Walk on Saturday, November 26.2022. The Scientology religion was founded by author and philosopher L. Ron Hubbard. The first Church of Scientology was formed in Los Angeles in 1954 and the religion has expanded to more than 11,000 Churches, Missions and affiliated groups, with millions of members in 167 countries.

Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights actavists staged a die-in protest during International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women at Santa Monica Place and the Third Street Promenade on Friday, November 25, 2022. RU4AR turned Black Friday into “Green Friday” by raising green bandanas and staging dramatic die-ins while disrupting shopping at the Third Street and Santa Monica Place. The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women marks the launch of the UNiTE campaign (Nov 25- Dec 10) — an initiative of 16 days of activism concluding on the day that commemorates the International Human Rights Day (10 December). This campaign, led by the UN Secretary-General and UN Women since 2008, aims to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world, calling for global action to increase awareness, promote advocacy and create opportunities for discussion on challenges and solutions. This years’ campaign UNITE! Police Dogs Training to Detect Explosives at Pier
Santa Monica Police Officer Elaina Hassan leads a multi-department K9 training exercise on the Santa Monica Pier on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Police officers from Inglewood PD and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies were training the K9's to detect high explosives carried by a person. The K9's can detect body-worn explosives and concealed firearms in a mass pedestrian area from around 50 yards away.
