Renowned Artist Rip Cronk Restores Iconic Mural 'Homage to a Starry Knight' on Venice Boardwalk

Renowned artist Rip Cronk, age 76, has embarked on the restoration of his celebrated mural titled "Homage to a Starry Knight" located at 1101 Ocean Front Walk on the vibrant Venice Beach Boardwalk on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Rip Cronk traveled all the way from Oregon to repair the defacement caused by graffiti. Back in 1990, Rip Cronk originally crafted this masterpiece on the Venice Beach Boardwalk. His artistic prowess extends to various other iconic murals gracing the walls throughout Venice, such as the captivating portrayal of Jim Morrison on Speedway and the monumental depiction of Abbot Kinney on North Venice.
